Role Description

Our International Dental Professionals Pathway.

As two groups have recently joined we are delighted to be introducing a new International Dental Professionals Pathway. The pathway is being designed to support Dentists who have graduated outside of the UK who wish to work in a Dental Nursing role during their further study. This pathway has been created for Overseas Dentists who are looking to progress their career in the UK Dental industry, with the end goal of being a Dentist.

This pathway would only be suitable for candidates who can commit to the full Training course of at least 9-12 months. If you become GDC registered as a Hygienist/Therapist or Dentist before the end of the course, you will need to complete the Nursing course before looking to transfer internally into a different role.

Please note – due to the expenses incurred by the business, all course costs and VISA sponsorship costs will be subject to a repayment policy should you leave within 5 years of starting with Rodericks Dental Partners.

Working and Training as a Dental Nurse…

As a Pathway Trainee Dental Nurse you will work in a supportive environment; we are passionate about building great teams who trust each other, work professionally, and take ownership for the success for the practice.

You will work under the GDC Scope of Practice as a Dental Nurse.

The course will include:

• On the job training
• Online learning
• Face-to-Face training sessions
• Completion of a record of experience
• Written and Practical exams
• Working with the support of a Mentor, witness and your Practice Manager, your assessor and our Education, Learning and Development team.

Our bespoke package will give all resources with access to our extensive CPD programme via Agilio, and support required to complete the qualification.

Eligibility

To be successfully matched to our International Dental Professionals Pathway, you will need to meet the below minimum criteria:

• Degree in Dentistry
• Academic IELTS score of 7+ (in date) - this is required by the Home Office (alternative language tests will not be accepted)
• Completed application for ORE/LDS Part 1 (or beyond) 

*If you are currently living in the UK on a Student VISA, you would not be able to start in a Pathway role until you have a Skilled Worker VISA.
